During my semester abroad in São Paulo, Brazil, I had the opportunity of meeting a number of Notre Dame alumni current located throughout the city. It was through one of these meetings that I first met Mariana Diaz, a 2008 graduate. Through our exchange, I learned that, after graduating, Diaz went on to co-founded a non-profit organization known as HANDS....
